Cork North Central Deputy Billy Kelleher today welcomed the announcement by the Minister for Education Michéal Martin of his approval for a grant of £46,763 to St Patrick’s Girls National School, Gardiner's Hill, Cork.

The grant is for the re-surfacing of the yard and floor repairs at the school. The deputy who was in attending the Fianna Fáil Parliamentary Party meeting in Cavan this morning said, “ The party’s commitment to the educational system is further vindicated by today’s announcement. This grant was necessary for essential repairs to the school that is a valuable part of educational make up of the Northside of the City.
