DEPUTY BILLY KELLEHER WELCOMES THE MINISTERS ALLOCATIONS UNDER THE SERVICED LAND INITATIVE

Fianna Fáils Billy Kelleher T.D. welcomed the announcement of the second tranche of water and sewerage schemes to be funded under the Serviced Land Initiative. This initiative seeks to relieve the current escalation in house prices by servicing more land for residential development.

Under today’s annoucement Blarney Sewage Treatment Plant is to receive £ 1,000.000 which will service an estimated 400 houses, while the Water Supply and Sewerage at Station Rd is to get £170,000 benefiting 115 houses.

The Glashaboy Water Supply is to receive £ 70,000 to service 120 houses.
