"The Government's unparalleled record of achievement and the fact that it is now in it's fifth year in office is obviously a real cause of concern to Fine Gael," said Cork North-Central Deputy Billy Kelleher. "At least we have some evidence of what the Fine Gael front bench has been doing under Michael Noonan's leadership - watching cowboy and western films and attending musical productions," he said. "The latest Fine Gael Party statement only endorses comments made earlier this year that this Government is on course to become the first in the history of the State to bring down the Opposition," he added. "The time has come for Brian Hayes and Fine Gael to take their act to the Gaiety Theatre. It is probably the only remaining stage in the country where the Fine Gael farce will be given a round of applause," he concluded.
