BILLY KELLEHER WELCOMES MINISTERS
ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING CHILD CARE FUNDING

Cork North Central Deputy Billy Kelleher today welcomed the announcement by the
Minister for Justice John O’ Donoghue on Funding for ChildCare.

Under the Equal Opportunities Childcare Programmes 1998 the Minister
has given a total of £5.2 million for 125 projects throughout the country.

Those benefiting by the funding are the Cork & Ross Family Centre £50,000, Wallaroo Playschool Ltd £ 3,000, Newbury House Family Centre £ 3,000 and Colaiste Stiofan Naofa £ 50,000.

“ Toady’s allocation will go a long way in the development of childcare facilities to assist parents who have to reconcile work and family life.”
