CORK NORTH CENTRAL DEPUTY BILLY KELLEHER WELCOMES THE MINISTER FOR EDUCATIONS 2005 BUILDING PROGRAMME

Fianna Fáil Deputy Billy Kelleher today welcomed the news regarding two of the schools in Cork which he has been representing have progressed to the tender and construction stage under the 2005 Building Programme.

“ I am delighted by the news that the both Cloghroe N.S. and Riverstown N.S have under the Department of Education Building Programme 2005 progressed to the tender and construction stage.”

“Both of these schools have very compelling cases and for them to have finally progressed to this stage is tremendous and long over due. Today's news has been warmly welcomed by the schools and the communities that they have tirelessly served through the years.”

“I certainly hope that they will be able to proceed without delay through the tender stage and that they will be finally able to undertake their individual extension and refurbishment works.”
